| Motorcycling has been a big part of my life |
When I moved to Whidbey Island I had trouble adjusting to the long waiting lines for the ferry in my car. Motorcycles are given the privilege of cutting in front of all the cars in the long line comming down the hill and get to go to the front corner of the holding lot area and get right on the ferry like ambulance in a medical emergency. This was what got me back into riding motorcycles with my purchase of a brand new 2007 Harley Sportster. Considering everything, it may not have my most brilliant idea since in 2008 I hit a deer here on Whidbey and broke my leg. Since then I purchase a 2015 BMW S1000R which can better help keep up with my son on his Ducati Monster and maneuver around deer. I converted a cargo trailer for carrying motorcycles for my son and I go on motorcycling trips. There is U-Tube Video below of on of our first trips and lots of other photos.
